Gitmo

It's fuckin' torture! It's fuckin' torture! Why are these right-wing ideologues getting away with these specious, moronic justifications for TORTURE. Why are Democratic senators being branded as "anti-American" by criticizing Gitmo? The Bush administration is being "anti-American" for turning a blind eye towards barbaric practices that undermine America's ideals. The view from the right seems to be that you shouldn't report these things for fear of damaging America's image abroad and putting America's soldiers and reporters in jeopardy. NO, it is precisely these things that make it that much harder for America to succeed abroad and fuel the fire for extremists. It's counter-productive. You can't simply justify everything by saying "we're fighting a war." Guantonomo is an embarrassement. If the goal is to promote American ideals abroad then these ideals need to extend to all aspects of American activity. And for all their talk about "morality", I have heard no one from the religious right(politcian or otherwise) speak out against the abuse happening on the base. God, I hate people.

Also, I learned last night that when you drink an entire bottle of J and B, you will vomit
